SORDALAB has specialised in the supply of scientific teaching material for 30 years.
In 1987, Patrick MOREAU, professor-researcher with the CNRS at the Université d’Orsay Paris Sud, came up with a new concept in France: the practical biology kit for teachers of Life and Earth Sciences. The first kit, called the SORDARIA kit, allows high school teachers to help students really manipulate genetics in a classroom setting. This kit has from the first year it went on sale, won over more than 85% of French high schools and gave its name to the company SORDALAB.
This concept has given SORDALAB a solid reputation as a specialist, and its products have all been highly praised by teaching staff. Most of these practical work kits are also part of the official subject bank for the experimental baccalaureate test.
Since then, SORDALAB has expanded significantly and offers a range of more than 6,500 products to science teachers from high schools, colleges and universities in France. It is with the same spirit that, for 30 years, all products in our catalogue have been rigorously selected: quality products, adapted to the needs and problems of teachers and at a competitive price.

OUR LOGISTICS RESOURCES
come from educational establishments (colleges, high schools, universities, mainly in France but also abroad).
We know the problem of our customers which is to be delivered on time to ensure a session of practical work.
In order to meet this imperative, we have a storage area of more than 2000 ² on our main site based in Étampes (91) and a stock worth between 1.3 million euros and 2 Millions of euros depending on the time of year, which allows us to keep more than 85% of our references in stock and to deliver 92% of the products ordered for the operation of a school establishment under less than 7 days.
Our logistics team, made up of 8 people (1 warehouse manager, 2 storekeepers and 5 order pickers) processes up to 250 orders per day (more than 1400 lines/day). Each year, more than 550,000 products are shipped from our warehouses.
