Its registered office is at 15 avenue des Grenots 91150 Etampes France.

Sordalab is registered in the Trade and Companies Register under SIREN number 352 658 801.

 

Your privacy and your personal data are of paramount importance to us. At Sordalab we have fundamental principles regarding the confidentiality and protection of personal data:

Sordalab operates several websites including www.sordalab.com et www.sordalab.be. Sordalab's policy respects the confidentiality of the information that we may collect in connection with the operation of our websites and the processing of orders that you place with our company. Sordalab has declared the processing of personal data it carries out to the CNIL, and this declaration was registered under number 2183741.

 

2. Aims

The processing of personal data by Sordalab pursues the following main aim:

  • Management of orders, customers and prospects

and the following secondary aims:

  • Management of returns
  • Support for customers and prospects
  • Studies and analyses of the use of the services, in particular for purposes of improvements of the sites and services.
  • Management of disputes

 

Sordalab therefore processes your personal data in the context of the contractual or pre-contractual relationship between you and Sordalab. A contractual relationship, governed by our terms and conditions of sale, exists when you have placed an order with Sordalab. A pre-contractual relationship exists when you have expressed an explicit interest in an offer from Sordalab, including when you have requested information or a quote for a Sordalab offer or product or when you have created a customer space (even without ordering).

 

When you visit or have visited one of the sites, the relationship that binds you to Sordalab is governed by the terms and conditions of use of the site.

 

3. Duration of retention of personal data

The personal data collected by Sordalab is retained only for the time necessary to meet the objective that was pursued upon collection.

  • Email address of the user, the recipient of the order or quote, or the customer
  • Telephone number of the user, the recipient of the order or quote, or the customer
  • Delivery address of the order and / or the customer if it is different
  • Collection address of a product to be returned
  • Connection data (IP address, connection log)

 

The data processed to create and manage your access to the Sordalab customer space includes a username and a password. The username is a customer number.

 

The connection data is collected and processed, including the IP address used for the connection: this is necessary to be able to assist you, for the implementation of our security measures, and to meet our legal requirements, particularly with regard to the traceability of accesses and uses.

 

4.1. Recipients of processed data

Sordalab may disclose any personal data you have entered or collected to its employees, contractors or affiliates who

(i)     need to know this information in order to process it on behalf of Sordalab or to provide services for the purposes mentioned above, and

(ii)   who have agreed not to disclose it to third parties.

Sordalab will not rent or sell personal data to third parties. Apart from its employees, contractors, and affiliated organisations, as stated above, Sordalab discloses personal data only in the event of a subpoena, court order or other governmental order, or where Sordalab believes that such disclosure is necessary to protect the property or rights of Sordalab, a third party or the general public.

 

If you are a registered user on a Sordalab website and have provided your email address, Sordalab may occasionally send you an email to announce new features, ask for your feedback, or simply send you news on Sordalab and its offers. We can also use our different blogs to communicate this type of information, mainly to limit the number of emails.

5. Terms of exercising rights of access, rectification and opposition

As a customer or user of our websites, you have the right:

  • to ask that the processed data concerning you be erased from our files. This is called the right to be forgotten. If you exercise your right to be forgotten, and you have access to a customer space on a Sordalab website, this access will be suspended because your username will be deleted from our files. We cannot erase your data as long as there is an order in progress for you that has not been fully processed or cancelled, or as long as there is a dispute pending between you and us.

6. Data security

Sordalab takes all reasonable and necessary steps to protect processed data against unauthorised access, use, modification or destruction of personal (or potentially personal) data.

 

7. Sub-contracting

Sordalab only uses subcontractors who provide sufficient guarantees for the implementation of appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that the processing meets the requirements of EU rules and guarantees the protection of the rights of the person concerned.

 

8. Assignment of assets

If Sordalab, or substantially all of its assets, are sold, or in the unlikely event of Sordalab going out of business or bankrupt, information on users will be part of the assets assigned to a third party or acquired by it.
