An innovative accessory for the SmartCart
When the Fan accessory is connected to a SmartCart, it offers an unprecedented level of programming and functionality.
Students can remotely control the Fan accessory using the Capstone software, adjusting the thrust force.
More advanced features are also available. Users can program specific start / stop conditions. The Fan accessory can even be controlled using calculations based on SmartCart's on-board sensor measurements.

Practical applications:

• Check Newton's second law.
  
• Measure the acceleration of the cart thanks to a constant force generated by the Fan. Repeat by varying the fan force or trolley mass.
  
• Counteract the fan force with the force of gravity using an inclined track. Increase the cart of incline until the cart cannot move forward.
