The Berlese device makes it possible to recover the small insects and worms present in soil. Just place a soil sample in the funnel. When the light is turned on, the heat released encourages the insects to move towards the bottom of the funnel to escape this heat. At the base of the funnel, a grid prevents the soil from falling. Place a beaker under the funnel to retrieve them.
