Cognitive objective:
Principle of thermal conduction and calorimeter system.

Activity:
Set up three calorimeters containing insulation for polar wool, bubble wrap or aluminium foil and compare their heat transfer capacity by conduction.
This experiment can also be carried out in data logging thanks to the flexible openings of the covers that can accommodate any type of temperature sensor.

Composition :

• 3 insulators
  
• 3 pots of 250ml and stoppers with hole for a thermometer
