Study oceanic movements, the effect of salinity and heat on the formation of currents.
Just pour blue coloured cold water into one of the tubes and red coloured water into the other then put one of the two tubes in ice to study the flow of currents. By substituting hot and cold water with salt (or unsalted) water, the same experiment can be conducted to study the effect of salinity.
The model is composed of 2 tubes of 50ml, 2 plastic connection tubes (200mm of length), blue and red dye powder for 1l of each and explanatory instructions.
