Ade2 yeast preparation for media (also suitable for bacteria)
Each dose allows the preparation of one litre of culture mediumThe media consists of different sachets to be diluted in 1 litre of demineralised water and then autoclaved.
Solid media preparations additionally contain a sachet of agar (gelling agent).
1L lets you pour 50 90 mm diam. Petri dishes.

Complete media allow the culture of all yeast strains. Minimum media are used to highlight various auxotrophies against amino acids or bases. Solutions sterilised by filtration are then used to supplement the media because most of these constituents are thermolabile and do not support thermo sterilization.
