It is made from a highly resistant and waterproof metallized polyester film.
The gold (or golden) side outward protects from the cold and allows the user to maintain heat at body temperature.
The silver side facing outwards insulates from the heat because then it protects from heat rays.
Reflects 90% of infra-red radiation.
