Genova Bio is a UV / Visible Spectrophotometer dedicated to life science applications. This easy-to-use device works in total autonomy. Genova Bio is a flexible spectrophotometer because it is compatible with a wide range of low volume tanks. This model is ideal for DNA and RNA samples. Its touch-sensitive colour display gives you quick access to pre-programmed methods for measuring nucleic acid concentration and purity, protein assay analysis and cell density analysis. Genova Bio covers a wide range of wavelengths between 198 and 800 nm, with a narrow bandwidth of 3 nm. It has a two-year warranty, xenon lamp included.

Using pre-programmed methods, up to 6 standards can be measured with up to 3 replicates per standard to minimise dilution error. Each method has an optional background corrective wavelength that depends on the measured dosage.

  The Genova Bio's optical system consists of a diode array detector coupled to a xenon flash lamp. This technology makes it possible to perform a spectral sweep over 198 to 800 nm in less than 3 seconds. Colour touch screen, light weight (3 kg) and compact, the Genova Bio is a must-have for your laboratory.
  
  The Genova Bio is supplied as standard with a micro-tank holder, from 50 μl.
  For even smaller volume samples from 0.7 μl, use the TrayCell tank.
