Turnkey educational device
This kit is the perfect tool to learn about infrared thermography.
Associated with a thermal camera (see page opposite), it allows the user to tackle the following topics:

• Introduction to infrared thermography (DVD media).
  
• Introduction to the main thermal phenomena (reflection, emission, radiation, ...).
  
• Emissivity measurement of different coatings.
  
• Study of heat conduction (fin effect).
  
• Study of electrical components in operation.
  
  The kit consists of the following elements:
  
• Heating system with fins.
  This heating system is composed of several materials to perform emissivity measurements. A fin system (steel, aluminium, PVC) also allows studies of heat conductivity.
  This system requires the use of a 12 V power supply (see ref. AL841C).
  
• Samples of different materials.
  4 plates of different materials are used to illustrate thermal properties (diffusivity, effusivity, conductivity, thermal capacity).
  For example, a material may be opaque in visible light and transparent in the infrared, or vice versa
  
• Housings for resistors and bulbs
  Using the infrared camera, it will be possible to observe live electrical components, in order to study their heating. Illustration of the Joule effect.
  
• A complete instructional guide (teacher's and student's manual).
  
  All these elements are offered in a storage and protection case (optional).
