Double beam
SpeedGate is a double beam photocell with integrated display. With two light rays, it is possible to directly measure the speed of an object passing through the photocell. We are therefore freed from the need for an external digital timer.
In addition to the two light beams, external signals can be used to start and stop the timing. This makes it possible, for example, to measure the time interval between the passage of two photocells.
Inputs can also be used by external devices such as microphones. In this way, SpeedGate can be used as a universal stopwatch.

Measurement modes: run time, speed, period, pendulum period, previous value, interval, average frequency, counter, etc.
