Hand pump and integrated pressure gauge
The bell is calibrated to be accurately positioned on the plate. On the top of the bell, a valve allows you to adjust or break the vacuum, and a pressure gauge dial to measure the internal pressure.
The plate has a circular seal ensuring a perfect seal with the bell. The base contains the pump for extracting air from the bell.
The plate can also be used without the bell as a simple vacuum pump with other accessories (not supplied). Simply unscrew the cap on the plate and connect the device in question.
