The PASCO spectrometer is specially designed for spectroscopic experiments in education. USB and Bluetooth connectivity allow use on a computer or tablet. With this device you can measure intensity, absorbency, transmittance and fluorescence, making it a powerful and intuitive tool.
Light from the source passes through the solution and a high quality diffraction grating. The CCD matrix detects light for recording and analysis.

The supplied software guides the user through calibration, full spectrum analysis, optimal wavelength determination, and concentration and kinetics experiments. For tablet use, just download a free application to enjoy the same functions as the software.
A fiber optic (optional) allows the device to be used as a spectrometer.
