Designed for protein separation on polyacrylamide gels.
This tank allows you to perform a vertical migration on polyacrylamide gel (CMR). To avoid handling, the gels are offered pre-cast and sold in cassettes.
This technique makes it possible to obtain an excellent separation of closely sized protein fragments.
All parts are secured and of different colours to ensure correct orientation. Platinum electrodes.

Necessary material:

• Power supply for tank: ALIM125
  
• Hot Sheet or spout (Bunsen or electric)
  
• Automatic micropipette with fine tips, micro test tube holder, laboratory glassware
  
• Chemistry: methanol *, glacial acetic acid *, demineralised water
  * optional: if you choose to recolour the gel after migration, pre-staining is all you need for observation!
