This boxed photodiode is the ideal tool to quantitatively study the phenomena of diffraction and interference.
It consists of a photodiode mounted on a mobile support for moving it.
Two analog outputs on safety banana sockets allow you to inject into all data logging interfaces voltages proportional to the position of the sensor and to the perceived luminous intensity. It is thus easy to draw the intensity profile of any diffraction pattern or interference.
