This device is ideal for resonance experiments in air columns.
It consists of an acrylic tube (Ø 50 mm x 1 m) mounted on two feet. A powerful speaker is arranged at one end. The second end may remain open or a piston (supplied) can be inserted to make studies on varying lengths. Polystyrene balls may be arranged along the tube to visualize resonance phenomena and to measure wavelengths.
An exploration microphone (optional) can also be used to measure sound amplitude according to position.
This product requires the use of a GBF to power the speaker.
