This track is an excellent alternative to conventional air tracks. In fact, the natural friction of moving mobiles is greatly reduced by magnetic levitation of the mobiles.
Magnets are fixed on the entire length of the bench. The mobiles also have, on each side, a magnetic sole whose magnetic field is oriented opposite so it is pushed vertically by the track.

Technical characteristics:

• 1 aluminium track 2m in length
  
• 1 rule per mm along the entire length of the track
  
• 3 buffers: 1 at each end of the track and 1 removable to study the oscillations over a reduced length
  
• 6 additional metal weights in a ring
  
• 2 springs with loops at the ends to study oscillations
  
• 2 bases with hooks to be fixed on the buffers or mobiles to hang the springs
  
• 6 acrylic spring loops with hanging system to study elastic shocks
